See the amazing state- of- the-art harvesting machines at work - felling and processing each tree in less than 30 seconds. Forestry Commision staff will guide you on your minibus and walking tour around the working forest of Grizedale. This is a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes and discover how the Forestry Commission balances timber production with the needs of conservation and recreation.
