Permits help us to ensure the success of your event or activity by enabling us to manage the forest making sure that incompatible activities do not take place at the same time and place. In addition permits esnure that sensitive areas of the forest are protected from other use. Not all activities require a permit. Please read our Permit FAQ for more detailed information on qualifying activites and conditions.

Unless you are requesting a permit for general access to a forest (or forests) please supply a map (1:50000) showing proposed routes including access for vehicles, car parking locations and orienteering control points. Include all points regardless of landowner.
